Vijay deverakonda(Arjun Reddy), a medical student with anger management issues, gets into a brawl with another student and is asked to either apologize or leave college. Arjun Reddy prepares to leave but stays back after seeing a Junior student, Preethi Shetty. On the other hand, Arjun Reddy(Vijay Deverakonda), along with his friend Shiva, goes to the first-year classroom and announces that he(Arjun Reddy) is in love with Preethi(Shalini Pandey) and Preethi is exclusive to him. Preethi Shetty, although initially scared of his nature, ultimately reciprocates his feelings, and their relationship grow up stronger over the course of the next three(3) years.

That is to say, on a day off, Arjun Reddy unwillingly agrees to perform a life-saving operation and collapses from dehydration. Meanwhile, the hospital staff tests his blood samples, which show traces of cocaine and alcohol. And the hospital chief files a case against Arjun reddy. On the other hand, arjun reddy, accepts the truths of violating laws, and Arjun reddy medical license is canceled for 5 years. Arjun is ejected from the flat. After that, the next day, Shiva(Arjun’s friend) manages to reach Arjun reddy to convey his grandmother’s death; he meets his father(Dhanunjay Reddy Deshmukh), and they reconcile. Arjun gives up his self-destructive habits soon after.
